Who is NDIS counselling suitable for?
NDIS counselling is available for participants aged 18 years and over. Participants aged 9–17 may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
How do I get started?

What happens after I submit an enquiry?
After your enquiry is received, you will be provided with an intake form. This must be completed before an appointment can be offered.
Do you accept plan-managed and self-managed participants?
Yes. Both plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants are accepted.
What NDIS line item is used for counselling?
Counselling is provided under the Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living category, using the line item Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy or Training – Social Worker (15_621_0128_1_3).
This line item is used for therapeutic supports delivered by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, with a focus on improving emotional regulation, coping skills and day-to-day functioning.
How does payment work?
For self-managed participants, payment is required prior to the appointment to secure your booking.
For plan-managed participants, invoices are sent to your plan manager for processing.
What is your cancellation policy?
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If sufficient notice is not provided, the full session fee will be charged.
What can I expect from counselling?
Sessions are focused on improving emotional regulation, coping skills and day-to-day functioning. Support is practical and tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Is EMDR available under NDIS?
EMDR may be available where appropriate, with a focus on reducing distress and improving emotional regulation.
What if I can’t attend during standard work or school hours?
Appointments are available from 8:00am on weekdays, as well as on Saturdays.
Is counselling confidential?
Yes. Sessions are confidential and your information is handled in accordance with professional and legal requirements.

NDIS Counselling
A 50-minute session for participants aged 18 and over seeking support with emotional wellbeing and day-to-day challenges. Sessions may also include relevant case-related work where required.
Services are charged at a prorated rate in line with the NDIS Price Guide.
